Monitor de Segundo Plano

The Monitor de Segundo Plano keeps an eye on all your connected Facebook Pages and lets you know exactly what is happening with your lead importing — in real time.

1. What Is This Tool?

Previously, checking for new followers was a "black box" — you had no idea if the system was working, stuck, or finished. The Monitor de Segundo Plano gives you real-time feedback on every single Facebook Page connected to your account.

Think of it like a dashboard for your car — it shows you everything that is going on under the hood, so you always know the status of your pages.

  • See live status — Know exactly which pages are being checked right now
  • Track progress — Watch as new followers are imported in batches
  • Spot problems quickly — If something goes wrong, you will see a warning message
  • Filter and search — Focus on just the pages you care about

2. Understanding the Status Colors

Each page in the monitor is color-coded so you can understand its status at a glance. Here is what each color means:

Processing Now
Active

What it means: The system is currently working on this page. It is checking for new followers and importing leads right now.

Paused (Batch Pending)
High Priority

What it means: Your page has many new followers! The system read a batch (for example, 300 leads) and paused briefly. It will resume immediately on the next run to finish the rest.

Cooling Down
Waiting Rule

What it means: To keep your account safe, pages are checked every 2 hours. If you see a countdown (for example, "Next check in 45 min"), the system is just waiting for the safe window.

Completed
Success

What it means: All done! The system checked your page and found no new followers to import, or finished importing everything that was available.

3. Filtering Your Pages

If you have many pages connected, the filter dropdown at the top of the monitor page helps you find what you need fast.

  • Processing Now — See only pages currently being checked
  • Paused / Batched — Find pages with large volumes of new followers pending
  • Completed — Verify pages that are fully synced

Simply pick an option from the dropdown and the list updates instantly.

4. Your Local Time

No need to convert server time zones. The "Last Activity" column automatically detects your user profile settings and shows all dates and times in your local time zone.

Tip: If the time looks wrong, check your Profile Settings to make sure your time zone is set correctly.

5. How Does It Work?

Imagine the Monitor de Segundo Plano as an autonomous robot that works 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to keep your Facebook Pages synchronized with your system. This section explains how this "robot" works in simple terms.

Simple Analogy: Think of this system like a delivery worker who visits multiple stores (your Facebook Pages) every day to pick up new packages (new followers/leads). The worker has a limited amount of time per day and must visit all stores fairly, one batch at a time.

1 The System Chooses Which Pages to Process

The system uses a "round-robin" method, which means it takes turns fairly among all users who have connected Facebook Pages. This ensures that no user has to wait too long while others get all the attention.

  • Priority: Pages that have never been scanned or haven't been scanned in the last 7 days get priority
  • Fairness: Each user gets a turn before the system repeats the cycle
  • Batch limit: Up to 20 pages per user are processed in each cycle

2 The System Locks Each Page During Processing

When the system starts working on a page, it "locks" that page temporarily. This prevents two different workers from processing the same page at the same time (which would cause duplicates or errors).

Safe Lock: You don't need to do anything! The system automatically locks and unlocks pages. If you see a page as "Processing Now" (blue), it means the system is actively working on it.

3 The System Fetches Data in Batches

For each page, the system connects to Facebook's API and fetches the list of conversations (leads) in batches of up to 400 at a time. This is done to:

  • Avoid errors: Facebook limits how much data can be fetched at once
  • Save resources: Smaller batches are faster and more reliable
  • Resume easily: If something stops the process, it can continue from where it left off

4 Saving Progress (Resume Feature)

The system remembers exactly where it left off! It saves the "next page URL" (like a bookmark) in the database. If the process is interrupted (e.g., server restart, timeout), it will automatically continue from that bookmark on the next run.

Why is this important? This means you never lose data! Even if the server restarts in the middle of processing, the system will pick up right where it left off.

5 Time Limits and Safety Guards

The system has built-in safety limits to prevent problems:

  • 100-second timeout: Each worker stops after 100 seconds to prevent hanging
  • 50 concurrent pages max: No more than 50 pages are processed simultaneously across all users
  • 10-minute zombie cleanup: If a page stays "Processing" for more than 10 minutes without updating, it's automatically reset and retried

7. Frequently Asked Questions

If a page stays "Processing" (blue) for more than 30 minutes without updating, the system will show a warning message ("Stuck?"). This usually happens if the server restarted during a check. The system will fix itself automatically on the next cycle.
It means your page has a lot of new followers! The system imported a first batch and paused to avoid overloading. It will automatically continue on the next run and keep going until every new follower has been imported.
To protect your Facebook account from being flagged, the system waits about 2 hours between checks on the same page. This is a safety rule — your page is fine, the system is just waiting for the next safe window.
The system works on its own schedule to keep your account safe. However, if a page is in "Cooling Down" status and you need an immediate check, you can find a manual refresh option on the page settings. Use this sparingly to avoid rate limits from Facebook.
Lead importing uses credits from your account balance. If you run out of credits, the system will pause all page checks and show a warning on the monitor. Once you add more credits, it will resume automatically on the next scheduled cycle.
If you no longer want a page to be monitored, go to your page settings and disconnect it from the integration. The page will disappear from the monitor on the next refresh. You can always reconnect it later if you change your mind.
The monitor shows times based on your user profile's time zone setting. Go to Profile Settings and make sure your time zone is correct. Once updated, all timestamps across the system will display in your local time.
