Link Tracking

Learn how to create trackable links for your campaigns and discover who clicked, where they are from, and what device they used — all automatically!

What Is Link Tracking?

Link tracking is like putting an "invisible camera" on your links. When someone clicks, you know exactly:

Who Clicked
Your subscriber's name and photo
Location
City and country
Device
Phone or computer
Which Campaign
What message brought the click

3. How to Auto-Label Customers

This is a super useful feature! When you create a link, you can set a label. Every person who clicks on that link will automatically get that label in your panel.

Practical Example: Imagine you send an offer for shoes. When people click the link, they'll automatically receive the label "Interested in Shoes". This way you can send shoe offers only to these people later!

How to Enable:

  1. When creating the link, look for the "Label" field
  2. Enter the name you want to use (ex: "Interested in Shoes")
  3. Save the link

Complete Example:

Shoes Link

  • URL: https://myshop.com/shoes
  • Slug: shoes-offer
  • Label: Interested in Shoes

Who clicks gets the label automatically!

Shirts Link

  • URL: https://myshop.com/shirts
  • Slug: shirts-offer
  • Label: Interested in Shirts

Separate group for specific offers!

4. How to View Results

Now comes the most interesting part: seeing who clicked on your links!

Access the Report:

  1. In the admin panel, go to Broadcasting
  2. Click on "Tracking Reports" or "Statistics"
  3. You'll see a list with all links and how many people clicked

What You Can See:

Total Clicks

How many people clicked the link

Identified Customers

Who they are (name and photo)

Location

Where they accessed from

How to Filter by Label:

If you used labels on your links, you can filter the results to see specifically who has that label:

  1. In the report, look for a "Filter" or "Search" field
  2. Enter the label name (ex: "Interested in Shoes")
  3. Click on "Filter"
  4. Now you'll only see people with that label!

5. Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use URL shorteners like Bit.ly?

It's not necessary! Our system already creates shortened links automatically.

For example: interativebot.com/track/go/offer is already quite short!

If you use an external shortener, tracking may not work correctly, so it's better to use the direct link from the system.

Tracking is not working. What to do?

Check the following points:

  1. Correct link: Are you using the link that starts with /track/go/?
  2. Link saved: Was the link generated correctly in the system?
  3. Client's browser: Was the click made through Messenger? Tracking works best when the person accesses through Messenger.
Tip: If you just created the link, wait a few minutes for it to work. Sometimes the system needs a little time to activate.
Why do some clicks show as "Anonymous"?

This happens when:

  • The person clicked the link outside of Messenger (ex: copied and pasted in the browser)
  • The system couldn't identify who the subscriber is
  • The person is no longer on your list

In these cases, you'll still see technical information like country, device, and time, but you won't know the person's name.

Will the link make my site slow?

No! The system redirects almost instantly. The person won't even notice they went through a tracking step.

The time between the click and your site opening is less than 1 second.

Can I see who clicked on an old campaign?

Yes! All clicks are saved in the database. You can access the reports at any time and filter by date to see results from past campaigns.

Can I delete a trackable link?

Yes, there's usually an option to delete or deactivate the link in the management page. But be careful: when you delete, you'll lose all the click history for that link.

Summary: How to Use Tracking

  1. Create the link: Go to the panel, generate a link with URL + slug + label
  2. Copy the link: Use the link the system generates (starts with /track/go/)
  3. Paste in broadcast: Use in text messages, buttons, or quick replies
  4. View results: See who clicked in the reports
  5. Use labels: Automatic segmentation of interested customers
